Change is a regularly evolving, transgenerational process that we all contribute to in a range of ways.  So often, we lose sight of our capability to contribute to our own lives or the lives of others.  The variables and conditions that inhibit change can become limiting beliefs that affect our daily perceptions on a subconscious level.

Amelia Earhart was always an inspiration to me because she was a part of my dad’s stories growing up.  She had been a friend of my great, great-aunt who was also friends with the Wright Brothers.  The mere association and knowledge of these daring individuals and their aviation activities helped to build my courage to pursue activities that I was passionate about.  It also contributed to creating a belief system within myself that often seems different than mainstream society and has helped me through adversity.

These individuals were not afraid of failure because they understood it is an inevitable possibility in anything that we may choose to pursue.  Someone has to face these challenges to bring forward progress so the next generation of people will have improved and different experiences. Sometimes, that means standing up to outdated norms or sharing information that someone else might find useful.

Since people cannot predict what will propel us forward, we must remain open to all perspectives that can create value or inform our decision making no matter how the individuals or society of the time might try to categorize or degrade them.  This is because one thing is certain.  Even if you don’t fix a problem or inevitably fail, just rejoice in the process and iterative nature of life.  All of our actions contribute to evolution on a multi-generational level.

The hope is that you consider the concepts, perspectives and this philosophy presented in unique ways by each individual in the short films to improve your navigation through life, find your purpose, and help others on your way.

About

"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward."

- Amelia Earhart
